Are my sessions covered?

Crime Victim Assistance Program
Katya & Victoria are a Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) approved counsellors. If you are a victim of a crime, you may qualify for the BC Crime Victim Assistance Program for assistance for needed services including counselling. CVAP pays for counselling services for victims of crime, their close family members, and some witnesses. If you qualify for assistance from the BC Government's Crime Victim Assistance Program, we handle billing for you directly with the government. Please note that eligibility may be granted to the victim of a crime, a family member of the victim, or a witness, and you may contact a CVAP client coordinator at 1-800-563-0808 (24/7 toll-free, confidential, and multilingual).
ICBC/Personal Injury Claims
ICBC often covers the counselling costs of people who have been injured in automobile accidents.

Katya us qualified and registered to provide mental health services to the First Nations Health Authority, Health Benefits Program (FNHA – HBP); Crisis Intervention Mental Health Program, and the Indian Residential School Resolution Health Support Program (IRSRHSP). Clients must meet the eligibility criteria for the FNHA mandate to receive services under the Health Benefits Program. More information at the FNHA toll-free line 1-800-317-7878.
